First Degree Reiki- The Art of Self Healing
Everything is energy. That is to say, everything in existence is a living, physical manifestation of energy. From the items we come across on a day to day, the people we interact with, to the emotions we experience, it all has an energy that carries a vibrational frequency.
Whether we are aware of it or not, we are constantly receiving and sending energetic signals out into the world. These signals are based on our own unique experiences and function a lot like radio antennas. They communicate the needs and desires of our innermost selves to the outside world, and magnetize people and situations into our lives based on resonance.
During the first degree Reiki, The Art of Self Healing, you will be introduced to your energy body with the intention of deepening your knowledge of Self and be provided with the tools to heal yourself intuitively.
This course calls you to prioritize you, invite more love into your healing and begin to communicate with intention on the subconscious/energetic level.

REQUIREMENTS FOR RECEIVING REIKI PRACTITIONER CERTIFICATION
- Attendance of all training (12) hours
- Completion of all practicum (8) hours to include self reiki.
- Complete workbook and course requirements.
- Demonstrate a complete understanding of reiki history and principles.
- Pass a comprehensive exam.
Initiates will be attuned to the Usui Lineage of Reiki. At this level in the Usui Lineage, reiki is applied to heal the Self, animals and plants (not other people).

What is reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing that works with life force energy (LFE) to activate the body's relaxation response and facilitate its ability to restore balance.
How can reiki help me?
Reiki is gentle and will meet you tenderly wherever you are. Some of the immediate benefits of reiki are relaxation, uplifted mood, clarity, better sleep, emotional stability. Because it works on the subtle body it tends to support transformation from the inside out.
What does the 21 day energetic detox consist of?
This will look unique for each individual but generally it is a time to focus on feeding and treating yourself well. I, too will participate so, we will be in this together!
I am Christian/Catholic. Can I practice reiki?
Yes. practicing reiki does not require or ask you to change your belief systems or values. In fact, reiki is a great way of deepening your faith.
Is it normal to feel nervous about inviting reiki into my life?
Yes. When your intuition is calling you to make deep changes it rattles the system until it is answered. If you've been hearing the gentle call of reiki... Trust & surrender, knowing that it is happening for a reason.
